STATEMENT OF THREAT
People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) activist Aubrey Norton last evening threatened to shoot me while I was on duty responding to a report that PNCR activists were pulling down posters belonging to the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C), in the vicinity of the Prime Minister’s Residence, Main Street, Georgetown.
I asked Mr. Norton to stop destroying PPP/C posters after which he pulled a gun from his right side waist, holding it in his right hand, saying ‘’you do something about it, I would shoot you Kwame McCoy’’. This threat was made before about 12 field workers of the PPP/C.
I have since reported this matter to the Brickdam Police Station for the relevant action to be taken.
